The Notary Resource Room was created by Stephanie McAfee, a working notary professional, apostille facilitator, educator, mentor, and content creator who understands that building a successful notary business takes more than simply earning a commission.
Stephanie’s journey began with Stephanie’s Notarial Services, where she built hands-on experience providing notarial services, including mobile notarizations, remote online notarizations, loan signings, and apostille facilitation. Working directly with clients gave her firsthand experience navigating real-world documents, client expectations, state and federal processes, and the day-to-day challenges that come with running a notary business.
From Notary Services to Apostille Facilitation
As Stephanie expanded her services, apostille facilitation became an important part of her business. Through working with apostille clients, she gained practical experience determining where documents need to be processed, helping clients understand requirements, coordinating submissions, managing document logistics, and navigating both state and federal apostille processes.
That experience eventually became the foundation for The Apostille Facilitation Method™—Stephanie’s step-by-step approach to helping notaries understand how to structure, price, market, and operate an apostille facilitation service.
Rather than simply teaching what an apostille is, Stephanie focuses on the part many new facilitators struggle with:

Stephanie also shares free educational content through her YouTube channel, where she teaches about remote online notarization, apostille facilitation, document processing, common mistakes and rejections, notary business growth, and lessons from her own experiences working in the industry.
Her goal is to make complicated topics easier to understand without oversimplifying the responsibility that comes with providing professional services.
