By accessing this website, creating an account, purchasing a product or service, downloading materials, or participating in a program offered by The Notary Resource Room, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use this website or purchase our products or services.

1. ABOUT THE NOTARY RESOURCE ROOM

The Notary Resource Room provides educational resources, digital products, templates, guides, scripts, training, mentorship, coaching, and other resources designed to assist notaries and notary business owners.

The information provided through our website, products, programs, and services is for educational and informational purposes only.

Nothing provided by The Notary Resource Room should be interpreted as legal, tax, financial, or professional advice.

2. NOTARY LAWS AND STATE REQUIREMENTS

Notary laws, regulations, fees, procedures, remote online notarization requirements, apostille procedures, and other requirements may vary by state or jurisdiction and may change over time.

You are responsible for verifying the current laws, rules, fee limitations, commissioning requirements, and procedures that apply in your state or jurisdiction before implementing information obtained through The Notary Resource Room.

Our resources are not a substitute for guidance from your commissioning authority, Secretary of State, government agency, attorney, tax professional, or other qualified professional.

3. EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES AND NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS

However, we do not guarantee:

4. DIGITAL PRODUCTS

Many products sold through The Notary Resource Room are digital products.

Digital products may include ebooks, guides, scripts, templates, checklists, forms, workbooks, spreadsheets, downloads, training materials, and other electronic resources.

Digital products are considered delivered once access to the product or download has been provided to the purchaser.

You are responsible for providing an accurate email address and maintaining access to the email account used when placing your order.

5. PERSONAL USE LICENSE

Unless otherwise stated in writing, purchasing a digital product gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the product for your own personal or business use.

Your purchase does not transfer ownership or copyright of the material to you.

You may customize templates for use within your own notary business when the product is specifically intended to be customizable.

You may not:

  • Resell our products

  • Redistribute our products

  • Share purchased files with others

  • Upload purchased resources to shared drives, groups, membership communities, or file-sharing websites

  • Reproduce our products for commercial resale

  • Claim our materials as your own

  • Remove copyright or branding for the purpose of redistribution

  • Use our materials to create substantially similar products for resale

  • Provide your login or download access to another person

  • Publish substantial portions of our paid materials online

Each purchase is intended for one purchaser/business unless another license is expressly provided.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise stated, all original content available through The Notary Resource Room—including educational materials, written content, graphics, templates, scripts, methods, training materials, videos, branding, and downloadable resources—is owned by or licensed to The Notary Resource Room and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, resale, or commercial exploitation of our intellectual property is prohibited.

7. MENTORSHIP, COACHING AND TRAINING PROGRAMS

Customers purchasing mentorship, coaching, consultations, workshops, webinars, or other training programs are responsible for attending scheduled sessions and completing any recommended implementation or preparation.

Purchasing mentorship or coaching does not guarantee specific business results.

Unless otherwise stated in the offer, unused sessions do not create an entitlement to a refund.

Additional scheduling, cancellation, rescheduling, attendance, and participation requirements may be communicated at the time of purchase.

8. PRICING AND PAYMENT

Prices are displayed on the website at the time of purchase and may change at any time.

We reserve the right to:

  • Change product pricing

  • Offer promotional pricing

  • Provide discount codes

  • Discontinue products

  • Modify product bundles

A later sale, promotion, or price reduction does not automatically entitle previous purchasers to a refund or price adjustment.

9. DISCOUNT CODES

Discount codes must be entered at checkout before completing a purchase.

If you experience a problem with an order, please contact The Notary Resource Room first so we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.

Submitting a fraudulent chargeback or falsely claiming that an authorized purchase was unauthorized may result in suspension or termination of access to purchased products, programs, accounts, or services.

Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection or payment-card laws.

12. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Our website may use or link to third-party platforms and services, including payment processors, email providers, scheduling platforms, video conferencing services, social media platforms, and other technology providers.

Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Message frequency varies depending on the programs, events, products, or services for which you have registered or opted in.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and wireless plan.

Opting Out

You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to a message from us. After submitting an opt-out request, you may receive a final confirmation message. You will not receive additional messages covered by that SMS program unless you opt in again.

Message Delivery

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery may be affected by carrier network availability and other circumstances outside our control.
